This involves designing lighting set-ups, operating lighting equipment during productions, troubleshooting technical issues, and adjusting settings to achieve the desired effects. They work closely with directors, producers, and other technical professionals to ensure that lighting enhances the mood and aesthetic of the broadcast. It is vital for these professionals to have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of color theory and photography, and the technical skills necessary to operate a variety of lighting equipment.
