Broadcast Technician Jobs in Leonardtown, MD
A Broadcast Technician, also known as a Broadcast Engineer, is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment used in the broadcasting industry. This includes both studio equipment and transmission equipment. They ensure that the video, audio, and radio signals are broadcasted clearly and without interruption. They also keep track of logs to document the programs, commercials, and other broadcasted content. They troubleshoot and perform repairs on malfunctioning equipment and may also help in producing television shows, movies, and radio programs.

Before becoming a Broadcast Technician, one may begin their career as an Audio and Video Equipment Technician, Radio Operator, or Sound Engineering Technician.
