Were looking for a | || hardworking journalist who can | || create an experience for our | || viewers, not simply write and | || organize news stories. | || | || No phone calls, please. | || | || Duties/Responsibilities include, | || but not limited to: | || | || Prioritize, organize, and produce | || compelling newscasts. | || Maintain working knowledge of | || current events, community issues, | || and local contacts. | || Responsible for oversight of live | || broadcasts and up-to-the-minute | || editorial decisions. | || Must be strong at managing | || breaking news and severe weather | || coverage. | || Must be able to think | || strategically from the producer | || chair daily, as well as motivate | || your team to execute your | || vision. | || Must have strong communication | || skills in both newsroom and | || master control. | || Experience with Edius and or ENPS | || a plus. | || Strong skills working with | || digital media and the ability to | || post stories to multimedia | || platforms. | || Ability to be a team player and | || maintain a professional attitude. | || | || Qualifications/Requirements: | || | || 1-2 years of newscast producing | || experience preferred. | || Bachelors degree in journalism or | || communications field preferred. | || Video editing experience | || preferred. | || Flexible work schedule required, | || must be willing to work a variety |
