Production Associate $20+ an hour
Job Description
Production associates will unload drainage pipes of all sizes, trim plastic excess, cut to spec, and coil into rolls. Candidates must be comfortable lifting 30-40 pounds routinely, and will team lift anything above that weight. You must also be comfortable maneuvering (pushing/pulling) heavier parts up to 100 pounds.
Responsibilities
Unload drainage pipes of various sizes
Trim plastic excess from products
Cut products to specifications
Coil products into rolls
Routinely lift 30-40 pounds and maneuver heavier parts up to 100 pounds
Essential Skills
General labor/production line/machine operation experience
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to maneuver up to 100 pounds (lifting/pulling finished pipes off the scale)
Experience using hand/power tools (e.g., sawzall)
Experience in packaging
Experience in plastics manufacturing
Shift hours:
1 opening on 1st shift: 7a-3:30p M-F
1 opening on 2nd shift: 3p-11:30p M-F
1 opening on 3rd shift: 11p-7:30a M-F
OT will be added before/after shift and every other Saturday as needed
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $21.50/hr.
